meh jiriki made one point. Any team with good teamwork and alright skulks can put up an extremely good fight vs a high skilled team on origin with DCs. It's the only real flaw with the map imo, although I've dreamt of countless ways to improve origin myself.
Not true TrC. Take 6 highskilled marines on a map like veil or tanith where you have nice open nodes like fusion (tanith), cargo (both), double (veil), and they can make mince meat out of the best team rush / ambushes with a good meds. You need skill aswell. On origin though with that dc tactic, you have like 2-3x more time due to the DCs heal, you can take twice as much damage per skulk because of the heal/cara, and you have a height advantage and 5 entrances to rush from, making it impossible to take double. Going for ore or vent is time costly to the marines and both routes are easily ambushed.
a dc tactic is not unbeatable, and it would be a lie to say they only won because of that. watch the veil demo. 2balls fade flashed, skulks got dominated by SDs lmgs. on alien they did just as good, with the pressure team down before they reached any node.

It wouldnt make sense that when double is going down there would be ambush to the way leading vent and you dont need to take double first you can take ore down first go to the upper level of double and chambers and nodes are easier to take down if you are unhappy with that go straight to the hive take your time. A good teamwork is always better than invidual skill, it is very rare, best you see nowdays is a all rush gogo and try to time it correctly however that is not how its most efficient.
In case you didn't notice, I crashed midgame in veil as a commander. On aliens SD's pressure team died on the way to cargo and I was capping dbl nodes at minute 2:00 or something. Fade flashed cos of lack of parasites / communication, so yea I agree we have to work on that.
MP, there was a counter for JPHMG's in 1.04 but its still imba. But yea its still my fault for not getting W2 and going up there to kill the DC (we did it the 2nd time, and I think I asked for it the 1st time but I'm not sure).

My point is TrC; your other options BAR double are ore and vent. Both have routes which are easily ambushable. I'm not saying they'd have an ambush after killing double; they wouldn't get the chance to kill double.

Nah, origin is my fault. I should have told the guys to go kill the DC the first time (I think I did but I'm not sure). Then I just thought 2 sgs + medpacks = aliens down. Also I didn't get W2 as dugi said, but siegeing wasn't a good idea at first cos they had only one node.

Tbh, i dont really think it is jirikis fault. Tane auctually saved a PG + killed a fade with a hmg. That would never have happend anyways. And the reason why fades escaped with so low hp, was because they had a hmg. So TBH, i dont really see it as a big mistake to go AA... What really costed the game in the end was the 2 guys dying at ventilation in the end. Or well, this was proberly only one of many mistakes, but this was the last.
GG , didnt watch the end but I have to mention that we mostly failed on veil alien cause we had our mcs at 3 mins or sth? I was surprised that after the lack of practice and the loss of a few players we were still able to steal one round :D
Its hard to calculate the aim % of good players, but the % are about even i would say, even a good SG aimer, can miss a whole shot. But HMG have alot of spread aswell. So i guess it evens up.
You cannot use statistics alone without first putting them into context. To say that W1 HMGs are better in a map with short, narrow hallways just shows you're a total fucking idiot.
dcs on origin can get raped easily if you do a shit strat for them, SD musta done something else good, you can't just drop a dc at the top of double and leave it at that... lol

we played a public game yesterday in alien, and some 2balls played in marine, the map was origin, we had MC-s in double, Jiriki commanded, and they sieged double

No, you had OCs in DBL, atleast I saw someone getting hit by OC. Then I just forgot the sieges there and later I heard a gorge building something in vent, scan, bam and recycle. I play public comm mostly just to try to practice my meds, which was horrible according to dugi. :D

Syntax, you did your work well. We don´t need to put excuses, one round this match, 2 rounds next match. We only can play more and more and more, but not less in a future matchs. Right, guys?

w1 hmg = 37 bullets to kill fade.
w2 sg (Perfect hits)= 5 shots.
hmg firerate = 20bullets/sec
sg firerate = ca. 1 shot/0,75sec.
If you get out 3 hmgs, which stick together, a fade will go down in 12-13 bullets.
3 hmgs = about the same as 4 sgs.
3 hmgs firing at 1 fade with 100% accuracy, will take - 12/20 = 0,6 sec, to kill.
4 sgs firing at a fade with 100% accuracy, will kill a fade in 1.5 sec. Because they need the last shot.
A little bonus about hmgs is also, they can shoot at distance. sg's cant.

3 sgs firing at 100% accuracy (5 shots needed) = 1.5 sec to kill fade.
2 hmgs firing at 100% accuracy (37 shot needed) = 19/20 = 0,95 sec. hmg wins.
