Match Report

Veil:

nineL (Subsector) drop 3 nodes (Overlook, Cargo & Nanogrid) and some fast MCs. The Sproggalots respond with a fast 2 SG pressure split into two groups pushing Cargo and Nanogrid simultaneously. The fast Silence pays off as Sproggas pressure is turned over with a casualty of 1 RT (Cargo). nineL proceed to take down the lone capper and eat RTs. Sprogga quickly push back to East Junction and get a PG allowign them to pressure Nanogrid with LMGs, whilst capping Pipeline and C12 relatively unchallenged. Sprogga push a lamed up Cargo, despite there being no hive due to the nineL playing with a RT Hive, and fail. Sprogga sit on RTs and get Jetpacks whilst repeatedly takign down Overlook. Weapon 3 proves too much for the nineL fades and both hives go down.

Sprogga (Subsector) opt for MC with 2 RTs. Some good Skulking meant that the nineL pressure group didn't make it past System Waypointing. With their early pressure down nineL were confined to base. Four SGs and Mines were dropped as nineL pushed through West for a PG rush on the Main Hive at Subsector, but GibbZ called it in good time with some aggressive scouting. By the time the PG was built in Overlook the whole team was ready for them with OCs, Spores and pointy teeth.

Sprogga 2 - 0 nineL


Orbital:

nineL (Generator) went with MC again dropping only Big Room RT initially, I think the second RT Gorge got cold feet. Sprogga used the 2 SG split pressure again pushing Big Room and a vacant J-Turn at the same time. Kuitimo produced some critical defense as nineL decided to flank the Sprogga pressure group at Big Room and head straight for Marine Start. Some co-ordination from the emotional Finn and Klawz saw the base rush dealt with whilst Big Room was taken down. J-Turn RT was dropped later and taken down allowing Sprogga to turn their attention to the Main Hive at Generator. Sensing their impending doom a comedy Gorge Rush was called by nineL but was unfortunately spotted early by GreeN and dealt with extreme force in Marine Start.

Sprogga (Generator) ran with the Mass RT strat taking Hangar, J-Turn, Observatory and Big Room quickly. Hangar proved to be ill advised and was chopped down by 3 LMGs. No early SGs and an fast AA from nineL as Sherpa pushed for fast Jetpacks to counter the numerous Fades that would soon be produced from Sprogga's 5 RTs. nineL's 3 JPs made it to Obsevatory and secured a PG but were unfortunately a little late as the Hive went up and the A1 W0 Jetpackers were outnumbered and outgunned.
