Match Report

I didn't see the Orbital rounds but I'm told that it was mostly Flatline in control. Although I hear Team Russia had a good start with their Marine Round.

I watched on Veil.

Flatline had a sloppy start as Marine with a few avoidable deaths. They managed to take out the Cargo node eventually (Russia having started with Sub), but they didn't have many nodes themselves. They got a PG in East Junction around 3 minutes and pushed Double several times eventually breaking the Russian resistance. A PG in Powercore and gratuitous mining of RTs saw Flatline holding a lot of nodes and the upgrades started coming thick and fast. Team Russia never recapped and after the Fade went down the 2:2 JPs came out it was all over.

Flatline's Alien Round was good, stalling the Marines at every chance. The plucky Russians managed to kamikaze a node down at C12, but totally lost map control after this. Some bulletproof Fading from Morvie was the final nail in the coffin.

Thx Testo. Yes the "whine about wich server to use" thingy... It was really nice to play vs ru but i think they have to learn how to handle the ensl. Dont like your flame ru. U can be happy that ur in Divison1, dont be gay bout server. If some Clans where back in ensl like knife aka teameurope aka ninelegends.... insane and others u wont be in Division 1.

thats not quite correct :x i think u have to watch some old demos then u would see that players from clans like sprogga, DU and flatline improved a lot.

Arj, you're wrong, flatlines have the skill required to play div1. Btw, i've seen a large part of first map, with a perfect from word on orbital (20-0 i think), and a one-sided game.

"Although I hear Team Russia had a good start with their Marine Round." => Not really exact. They killed an alien node, but on the other side, the caper was unable to build the first RT for 2 min. They never had more than 4 rt (ms included) and when they had, it was for a short time.

I think russians weren't in a "good day", i've seen them more skilled/tp than they were in this game.
